What does Everyone’s Invited have that others don’t?
Production EXPERIENCE paired with an EXPERTISE in accessibility

Laura Grunfeld, founder and owner of Everyone's Invited, has worked in event planning since 1983 and since 1999 has focused on improving event accessibility. Laura worked for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
for 10 years. As the festival's Human Resources Director, both patrons and festival staff came to her with questions regarding access to the festival for people with disabilities. Seeing the need, Laura established the Access Program, which received national recognition, and awards from the State of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans. The Jazz Festival's Access Program became a model for event access planning.
When the Bonnaroo Music Festival
in Tennessee wanted to improve their access for people with disabilities, the festival's producers asked Laura for assistance. Laura began consulting with Bonnaroo in the spring of 2004 and continues to work with them on the design and implementation of the Bonnaroo Access Program.
When the Rothbury Festival
was in its planning stages, they turned to Laura for help with their Access Program. Laura has served as the Access Specialist for the Rothbury Festival since its inception.
Laura has also provided consulting and access assessments for several smaller events in Louisiana and in Massachusetts. Before moving exclusively into accessibility consulting, Laura worked in various capacities including event production, fundraising and development, and in human resources management and volunteer program development, for The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Essence Music Festival, New Orleans' WWOZ Community Radio, WERU Community Radio in Maine, and the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of New Orleans.
